Upload binaries

Android APK

Drag an .apk onto the Android app area or choose Select APK file. .aab and .zip files are not supported in the web upload.

iOS .app

Add a directory with the .app extension to the iOS app area. macOS treats .app directories as applications, so the file picker may not let you choose one as a directory. If that happens, drag it directly from Finder onto the drop area.

If you only have an .ipa, extract it first and select Payload/AppName.app.

Scan both platforms

Add both iOS and Android on the same page to run individual and cross-platform analysis. If one platform fails, Abyss may show only the individual results for the successful platform.

Uploading and starting a scan are separate actions. Uploaded binaries appear as Not analyzed until you review the credit cost and manually start the scan.

Caution

Deleting a scan or application also deletes its binaries, reports, questions, and findings. Download any reports you need first.
